Product: Regal Lager CYBEX Strollers

Recall: January 27, 2010. Regal Lager has recalled approximately 1,100 CYBEX strollers because the hinge mechanism poses a fingertip laceration or amputation hazard when unfolding or opening the stroller. There has been at least one report of a child whose finger was fractured when he put his finger in the hinge mechanism.
The recall involves the Ruby, Onyx and Topaz styles of the CYBEX umbrella stroller. 'CYBEX' is printed on the side of the stroller.
Recalled strollers were sold in stores nationwide between August 2009 and November 2009 for $140-$260.
What to do: Stop using the recalled stroller immediately and contact Regal Lager for a retrofit hinge cover kit.
