Product: Wii™ 4-Dock Battery Recharge Stations Distributor: Griffin International Cos., Inc., of Minneapolis, MN Recall: August 11, 2009. Griffin International has recalled approximately 220,000 4-dock battery recharge stations because the battery pack can overheat and pose a burn hazard. There have been at least six incidents where the stations have overheated. Two consumers reported minor hand burns. The recalled items are the Psyclone Essentials and the React Wii 4-dock battery recharge stations that are a white docking station with four recharge stations and a rechargeable battery pack. Model numbers are PSE6501 (Psyclone Essentials) and RT530 (React). The Psyclone Essentials recharging stations were sold at Target, Toys R Us and Amazon.com nationwide and the React stations were sold at Best Buy nationwide. Both brands were sold from January 2008 through July 2009 for $50. What to do: Stop using the recalled stations and contact Griffin.
