Product: Little Tikes™ Workshop Sets and Trucks

Recall: August 13, 2009. Little Tikes™ has recalled approximately 1.6 million workshop sets and trucks because they have plastic toy nails that can pose a choking hazard to a young child. There was one report of an 11-month-old boy that choked on a plastic nail but recovered after being taken to a hospital.
The recalled toy is an oversized blue or red plastic nail, 3.25 inches x 1.25 inches. About 1.25 inches below the nail head is a plastic ridge. The nails were sold with the following Little Tikes products:
Electronic Project Workshop (model 0914/430B; UPC 0-50743-00914-3 and UPC 0-57043-52613-8; sold between March 1994 and December 2003.
Little Handiworker Workhorse (model 0920/612237; UPC 0-50743-10920-1 and UPC 0-50743-61223-7; sold between March 1999 and June 2009)
Home Improvements 2-Sided Workshop (model 4146; UPC 0-50743-04146-4; sold between February 2001 and January 2009)
Swirlin' Sawdust Workshop (model 440Z; UPC 0-50743-38540-7; sold between April 2004 through November 2008)
Black Pickup Truck with Tools (model 4028; UPC 0-50743-04028-3; sold between March 2000 and April 2009).
All of these recalled toys were sold online, including www.littletikes.com, and in mass retail stores, including Toys R Us from March 1994 through June 2009 for $25-$100.
What to do: Take the toy nails away from a young child and contact Little Tikes for a replacement toy nail.
