Recall: August 27, 2009. Liquidation Outlet has recalled approximately 8,400 toy playsets because the surface paints contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. There have been no injuries.

The recalled action figures include the Force Solder playset, SKU 70134, that came with two soldiers, an airplane, machine guns and a tropical tree and the Pirate Expeditions figures that were sold in a blister pack in two styles, with SKU 70136.

The playsets were sold only in Dollar Stores in Washington State and Oregon from September 2007 through July 2009 for $1.

What to do: Take the toys away from a child and return to store of purchase for a refund or exchange.
