Product: Wearever Girl's Plaid Hooded Jacket Distributor: EMH Associates Inc., of New York, NY Recall: July 16, 2009. EMH has recalled approximately 4,400 hooded children's jackets because they contain a drawstring through the waist, which can pose an entrapment hazard to children. There have been no injuries reported. The recalled jackets were sold in size 7/8 through size 16 with RN number 115036 and style number WD36687 or WD36689 and in turquoise and brown plaid, pink, and orange and brown plaid. The jackets were sold in Meijer Stores nationwide in July 2008 for $15. What to do: Remove the drawstring from the waist to eliminate the hazard, or return with the drawstring to the place of purchase or to EMH Associates for a refund.
