Recall: August 4, 2009. Nova Natural has recalled approximately 265 Yayita baby hammocks because the hammock can flip over, posing a fall or strangulation hazard to the infant seated in it. No incidents have been reported.

The recall involves the Yayita cream-colored canvas baby hammock, model #YABN-1, that hangs from a wooden pole and measures 29 x 43 inches. The hammock has three restraint straps with red buckles and is attached to a cushioned pad. 'La Siesta' is printed on a tag below the restraint straps.

The recalled hammocks were sold by Nova Natural online at www.novanatural.com from October 2007 through October 2008 for $100.

What to do: Stop using the baby hammock and contact Nova Natural for a free replacement hammock.
