Recall: June 2, 2009. Bugaboo has recalled approximately 22,500 Bee strollers because the brakes can fail, posing an injury risk to the rider if the stroller rolls away on an incline. There have been at least 121 reports of the brakes failing but no injuries.

The recalled Bee strollers have item code 580210 on the back of the seat and item code 50100 on a label on the plastic support under the seat. The strollers were sold in blue, dark khaki, pink, red, yellow and black. The strollers were sold nationwide in stores an online from August 2007 through April 2009 for $530.

What to do: Stop using the stroller immediately and contact Bugaboo for a free repair kit. Bee owners can also go to the company's website and download the special order form.
