Product: 18-inch Kick Body Boards Importer: JGR Copa LLC, of Hollywood, FL Recall: June 18, 2009. JGR Copa has recalled approximately 900 kick body boards because the green surface coating of the screen logo 'Big Lizard' on the underside of the body boards contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. There have no reported injuries. The recall involves the 18-inch Kick Body Board (product code 18000-1) that came in various designs including peace signs, white hibiscus and a yellow smiley face. The 'Big Lizard' logo is screen printed in green on the underside of these recalled styles. The body boards were sold at Beachwear Outlet, Bargain Beachwear, Beach Village Inc., FJ Health & Beauty, Mor USA Inc., Shipwreck-Ocean Jewels, Walmart and Wilcor International Inc. from January 2009 through May 2009 for about $4. What to do: Take the recalled body board away from a child and return to place of purchase for a refund. Or contact JGR Copa for a refund.
