Product: Aqua-Leisure Inflatable Baby Floats

Recall: July 2, 2009. Aqua-Leisure has recalled approximately 4 million baby floats because the leg straps in the seat can tear, causing the child to unexpectedly fall into or under the water, posing a risk of drowning. There have been no reported injuries though there have been at least 31 reports of the seat strap failing.
The recall involves inflatable baby floats with a date stamp between 08/02 and 07/08 that is molded on the valves. Products not included in the recall have a 'NP' molded on the valve. The following models and model numbers have been recalled:

The recalled inflatable boats were sold nationwide, including Target, Toys R Us, Walmart, Dollar General, Kmart, Walgreen, Ace Hardware and Bed, Bath & Beyond retailers from December 2002 through June 2009 for $8-$15.
What to do: Stop using the recalled inflatable baby float and contact Aqua-Leisure for a refund.
