Product: Jaloma Pacifiers Importer: Gromex Inc., of Passaic, NJ Recall: July 7, 2009. Gromex has recalled approximately 700 Jaloma pacifiers because the mouth guard and ventilation holes are too small and do not meet federal safety standards. The pacifier could pose a choking or aspiration hazard to a young child. The recall involves Gromex's Jaloma pacifier that has a ring-shaped handle and round-shaped mouth guard with two ventilation holes. 'Jaloma' is printed on the handle side of the mouth guard and the nipple has a gel-like liquid inside. The pacifiers were sold in retail stores in New Jersey and New York from February 2008 through March 2009 for $1. What to do: Take the recalled pacifier away from a child and contact Gromex for a refund or exchange. Contact: Gromex collect at (973) 458-9399 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET. |
