Product: Curiosity Kits Jewelry Craft Kits

Recall: May 6, 2009. Action Products has recalled approximately 2,900 jewelry craft kits because some parts contain high levels of lead, which violates the federal lead standard. The recall includes the Curiosity Kits 'Abalone Necklace' kit (item #67117) and the 'Venetian Carnevale Necklace' kit (item #67118). The lobster clasps in both kits contain excessive levels of lead, and the pendant in the Abalone Necklace kit also contains high levels of lead. No injuries have been reported. The recalled kits were sold nationwide by various retailers from June 2007 through April 2009 for $6.
What to do: Take the kits away from children and contact Action Products for return and replacement information.
