Recall: April 30. 2009. Pumpkin Patch has recalled approximately 800 girls' hooded raincoats because they contain a drawstring through the hood, which poses a strangulation and entanglement hazard to a young child. There have been no reported incidents.

The recalled item is the Pumpkin Patch hooded raincoat with drawstring that was sold in girls' sizes 2 through 10. It is a trenchcoat style in red with pink polka-dots. The raincoats were sold in Pumpkin Patch stores nationwide and online at www.pumpkinpatchusa.com from July 2008 through February 2009 for $50.

What to do: Remove the drawstring immediately to eliminate the hazard, or contact Pumpkin Patch for refund information.
