Recall: June 26, 2008. Stanley has recalled approximately 1,200 2nd Nature Built-to-Grow cribs because they may not meet the federal standard for crib dimensions. When the mattress is placed in the middle position, there may be too much room between the mattress and the crib, posing an entrapment hazard to an infant in the crib. There have been no injuries reported. The recalled crib is the 2nd Nature Built-to-Grow, model number 353-14-220 and includes the following serial numbers (the serial number can be found on the headboard):

The cribs were sold in juvenile furniture and department stores nationwide from March 2006 through December 2007 for $1,100.
