Bead Bazaar has recalled approximately 13,000 'It's a Girl Thing' bracelets, necklaces and charms because they could contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard and could pose a hazard to children if ingested. The recalled jewelry includes 'It's a Girl Thing' necklaces (UPC code 633870018426), bracelets (UPC code 633870018419) and phone charms (UPC code 633870018433). The jewelry was sold nationwide from February 2006 through June 2008 for $6. What to do: Take the recalled jewelry away from a child and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
