Tumbler Tower Infant Rattle

Product: Tumbler Tower Infant Rattle

Manufacturer: Manhattan Group LLC, of Minneapolis, MN

Recall: May 15, 2008. Manhattan Group has recalled approximately 7,000 tumbler tower infant rattles because the blue end caps can break into small parts and pose a choking hazard to a young child. There have been at least two reports of the end caps breaking, but no injuries. The recalled rattle is item # 206280, measures five inches long and is clear plastic with blue end pieces. The rattle also has two clear handles that feature colorful beads inside and brightly colored rings on the outside. A blue face spins on a purple post inside the rattle center when it is turned. The rattles were sold nationwide in gift and specialty stores, through catalogs and on the Internet from September 2007 through April 2008 for $15.

What to do:: Take the recalled toy away from a child and return to store where purchased. Or, return to Manhattan Group to exchange the rattle.
