Product: Yellow Sure Grip Paint Brushes

Recall: May 22, 2008. Early Childhood Resources has recalled 860 yellow-handled sure grip paint brushes because the surface paint contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. No injuries have been reported. The recalled yellow paint brushes were sold as part of the "4 Pack Sure Grip Paint Brushes" set, item #ELR-0152, and are 5-inch long nylon bristled brushes with knob-style handle. The paint brush sets were sold by Early Childhood Resources distributors, including teacher supply stores, between May 2007 and January 2008 for about $2 per pack. Only the yellow-handled brushes have been recalled. The other colors in the set have not been recalled at this time.
What to do:: Stop using the recalled paint brushes and contact Early Childhood Resources for a free replacement product.
