Product: Tinker Bell Wands Retailer: Disney Store, of Pasadena, CA Importer: Hoop Retail Stores LLC, of Secaucus, NJ Recall: May 22, 2008. Disney has recalled approximately 8,000 Tinker Bell wands because the paint on the pearl beads of the wand contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. No injuries have been reported. The recalled Tinker Bell wands are green and light up and sound when a button in the handle is pressed. The top of the wand has white plastic flowers, a green bow, and a pin with Tinker Bell's face on it. The wands were sold in Disney stores nationwide from April 2007 through October 2007 for $13.
