Recall: May 29, 2008. QuinCrafts has recalled approximately 70,000 Makit & Bakit craft sets that contain children's jewelry because the metal clasps on the necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. No injuries have been reported. The following sets have been recalled:

The recalled jewelry and suncatcher craft sets were sold in toy and craft supply stores nationwide from July 1, 2007 through April 1, 2008 for $2.
What to do: Take the craft sets, and all the jewelry pieces, away from young child and contact QuinCrafts for replacement product information.
