Recall: May 8, 2008. Munchkin has recalled approximately 5,000 deluxe bottle & food warmers because they can overheat and pose a burn or fire hazard. There have been at least nine reports of warmers overheating, a few of which ignited and damaged countertops. The recalled warmers are model #13301 with lot # TP-1487 imprinted on the bottom of the unit. The warmer set includes a main basket, a lift-out basket, an adapter ring, and a measuring cup. Only warmers with lot # TP-1487 have been recalled. The recalled warmers were sold in stores and through Munchkin's catalog from June 2007 through April 2008 for $20.
What to do:: Stop using the recalled warmer and contact Munchkin for free replacement.
