Recall: April 16, 2008. Santa's Toy Corp has recalled approximately 9,000 Push Action Western Rider toys because the surface paint on the gloves, shirt and pants of the rider contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. No injuries have been reported. The recalled toy is a plastic toy horse with rider with a 20-inch long handle (item #606, model #KF603). The plastic rider has red pants and blue shirt. The horse comes in different colors. The horse and rider with handle measures about 26 inches when assembled. The recalled toy was sold nationwide in discount and retail dollar stores from February 2005 through February 2008 for $2.50-$3.
What to do:: Take the push toy away from a child and return to store where purchased for a refund.
