Recall: March 26, 2008. Educational Insights has recalled approximately 130 indoor/outdoor ring toss games because the paint on the yellow peg contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. No injuries have been reported. The ring toss game is made of a red wooden base in the shape of an X, four purplish-blue wooden pegs, one yellow peg and three blue plastic rings. The ring toss game was sold in educational supply stores from December 2007 through February 2008 for $30.
What to do: If you own this product, you should have been contacted and instructed to return ring toss to store where purchased for a refund. If you haven't been contact, please call the toll-free number or email company's service department.
