Product: 'Main Street Drag' Character Sunglasses Importer/Distributor: StyleMark Inc., of Ormond Beach, FL Recall: April 3, 2008. StyleMark has recalled approximately 144,000 Main Street Drag character sunglasses because the orange paint on the temples contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. Only style number DI25K7116 has been recalled, which includes sunglasses that have dark metallic blue or dark metallic red fronts with grey checkered temples. (Sunglass style #DI25K7116 with 'Lightning McQueen' in silver lettering on the temples have not been recalled). 'Main Street Drag' is printed in orange on the temple. The recalled sunglasses were sold in Payless, Walgreen's, Academy Sports, and CVS stores nationwide from October 2007 through March 2008 for $6-$9. What to do:: Take the sunglasses away from a child and contact StyleMark for a free replacement pair. Customers may break off the temples from a recalled pair and mail the temples back to StyleMark. Or they may mail the entire pair of sunglasses back to StyleMark.
