Recall: April 3, 2008. Toys 'R' Us has recalled approximately 16,400 Imaginarium brand wooden activity centers because the small parts of the toy can detach and pose a choking hazard. There have been at least 12 reports of pieces coming off the centers, but no injuries. Only the multi-sided activity center (item # 69042) and the jungle activity center (item #69083) have been recalled. The multi-sided activity center has one side with eight rows of colored counting beads and the other side with rows of rotating lettered and picture blocks. The jungle activity center has peg-jumping monkeys, sliding fish, abacus beads, bead mazes and other animal-themed activities. 'Imaginarium' and the name of the activity center are printed on the packaging. The recalled activity centers were sold in Toys 'R' Us stores and on their website from August 2007 through February 2008 for $20-$50.
What to do:: Take the activity center away from a child and return to nearest Toys R Us store for a refund.
