Product: Cuddly Cousins Plush Stuffed Animal Insects Retailer: Dollar Tree Stores Inc., of Chesapeake, VA Importer: Greenbrier International Inc., of Chesapeake, VA Recall: April 7, 2008. Dollar Tree has recalled approximately 300,000 Cuddly Cousins plush stuffed animals because they contain small parts, which, if detached, can pose a choking hazard to a small child. There have been no injuries reported. The recalled stuffed animals look like insects and come in six styles: lady bug (black and red), bumble bee (black and yellow with white wings), caterpillar (yellow, pink, green and orange body), snail (yellow and brown) and two different butterflies (pink body with green wings, and blue and yellow body with purple wings). All six styles of stuffed animal insects have product number 903995, UPC code 6 39277 03995 8, and date code 71. The recalled products were sold at Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, Dollar Express, Greenbacks, Only One $1, and Deal$ stores nationwide from March 2007 through December 2007 for $1. What to do:: Take the recalled stuffed animal insect away from a child and return to store where purchased for a refund.
