Recall: March 17, 2008. MEGA Brands has recalled approximately 1.3 million magnetic toy action figures because the small magnets inside the figures can come out and pose a choking or intestinal aspiration hazard if swallowed. If a child swallows two or more small magnets, they can attract each other and cause intestinal perforations or blockages, which can be fatal. There have been at least 25 reports of magnets falling out of toy figures, but no injuries.
The recall includes two styles of MagnaMan toy figures, Futuristic Warrior and Ancient Warrior. The figures have body parts that attach with magnets. Each figure comes with three accessories.

The recalled items were sold in Wal-Mart, Target, Toys R Us and other stores where toys are sold from January 2005 through December 2007 for $10.
What to do: Take the recalled toys and accessories away from a child and return the set to MEGA Brands for a replacement toy. Go to the MEGA Brands website for complete recall and replacement toy information.
