Recall: March 21, 2008. Hobby Lobby has recalled 13,032 Easter egg toys because the surface paints contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. No injuries have been reported. The Camouflage Easter Egg Treat Containers are Item #1031 and are white, brown and green camouflage colors, sold in 8-egg packages. 'Made in China for Tony Development and Mfg Ltd; TST, Kin, HK' and UPC code number 43078 01031 are printed on the back of the packing. The Easter Spinning Egg Tops are Item #1054 and are multi-colored and come in packages of a single egg and a rip cord. 'Made in China for Tony Development and Mfg Ltd. TST, Kin, HK' and UPC code number 43078 01054 are printed on the back of the packaging. The toy eggs were sold in Hobby Lobby stores nationwide from January 2008 through March 2008 for $2.50 (camouflage eggs) and $2 (spinning top).

What to do: Take the recalled toy eggs away from a child and contact Hobby Lobby for a $3 exchange card good for any purchase in one of their stores.
