Product: Girls' Hooded Sweatshirts Distributor: Rebelette International Trading Corp., of South El Monte, Calif. Recall: March 5, 2008. Rebelette International has recalled approximately 4,000 girls' hooded sweatshirts because they have a drawstring through the hood, which could pose a choking or strangulation hazard. No injuries have been reported. The recalled sweatshirts have a drawstring at the neck and come in two styles. One style is a zippered-front light-blue and pink hooded sweatshirt with 'Red Hot Chili Steppers' on the front and back. The other style is a zippered-front brown and blue hooded sweatshirt with 'PowderPuffs Touch League' on the front and back. 'Rebelette of Los Angeles' is printed on the collar label. The hooded sweatshirts were sold in girls' sizes s, m, l, 4, 5, 6 and 6X in Marshalls and other clothing retailers from July 2007 through September 2007 for $15. What to do: Remove the drawstring from the hood. Or, return the hooded sweatshirt, with drawstring intact, to the place of purchase or to Rebelette International for a refund.
