Product: Karl Kani Boys' Fleece Hooded Sweatshirts

Recall: February 13, 2008. Siegfried & Parzifal has recalled approximately 5,000 Karl Kani boys' fleece hooded sweatshirts because they have a drawstring through the hood, which poses a strangulation hazard. No injuries have been reported. The recalled sweatshirts are model numbers MB7808, MB7809, MB7810 and MB7812, which is printed on the hangtag. 'Kani Polo' is printed on the neck tag of each sweatshirt. The hooded sweatshirts were sold in blue, gray, black, red and brown and boys' sizes small (8-10) and medium (12-14). The sweatshirts were sold in A&E Store, DD Discount, Forman Mills, The Marmaxx Groups, and Suit Mart stores nationwide from July 2007 through October 2007 for $50.
What to do: Take the drawstring out of the hood to eliminate the hazard, or contact the distributor for a refund.
