Recall: February 5, 2008. Downeast Concepts has recalled 418 toy gardening rakes because they contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard for toys. The recalled rake has a wooden handle and yellow metal rake and measures approximately six inches in length. 'Backyard and beyond' and 'Garden Tools' are printed on the circular hang tag. The rake was sold nationwide between June 27, 2007 and November 28, 2007 for $2.50.
What to do: Take the rake away from a child and return to store where purchased for a replacement rake.
