Product: Tinker Bell Lamps Manufacturer: Kash N' Gold Ltd., of Deer Park, NY Recall: January 10, 2008. Kash N' Gold has recalled approximately 60,000 Tinker Bell novelty lamps because the surface paints contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. The lamps are Tinker Bell children's lamps 'Tinker Bell' embossed on a metal plate, and a sculpted Tinker Bell standing in a flower garden. The recalled lamps were sold nationwide in electronics and appliance stores, including Lowe's, from January 2007 through October 2007 for $40. What to do: Stop using the lamp and return to store where purchased for a refund. Or, contact Kash N' Gold for merchandise credit.
