Tot Tower Stacking Blocks

Product: Tot Tower Stacking Blocks

Importer: eeBoo Corp., of New York, NY

Recall: December 27, 2007. EeBoo has recalled approximately 170,000 tot tower stacking block sets because the plastic laminate can detach from the block and pose a choking hazard to a young child. EeBoo has received two reports of children mouthing the detached laminate. The recall involves 10-block stacking sets that include cardboard blocks that range in size from 1.5-inch cube up to 6-inch cube. Each block has a laminated surface. "Tot Towers" and "eeBoo Corporation" are printed on the product's packaging. The block sets were sold in specialty and gift stores nationwide from January 2003 through September 2007 for $20.

The recalled block set themes include:

Things I Know New
Garden Fairies
Hardware Store
Around the Land
Read-To-Me
Animal Sounds
Animal Alphabet
ABC
Nursery Friends

What to do: Take the recalled blocks away from a child and return to store where purchased for a refund. Or, contact eeBoo for a replacement toy.
