Recall: December 6, 2007. Approximately 72,000 boys' hooded sweatshirts have been recalled because they contain a drawstring through the hood that can pose a strangulation hazard. No injuries have been reported. The recalled hooded sweatshirts were sold in boys' sizes small and medium, in grey, blue and brown, nationwide from August 2007 through November 2007 for $20-$40.

What to do: Remove the drawstring from the hood to eliminate the hazard. Or, return the sweatshirt to place of purchase or to Scope Apparel for a refund.
