Orvis Stuffed Plush Horse/Pillows and Fairy Dolls

Product: Orvis Stuffed Plush Horse/Pillows and Fairy Dolls

Distributor: The Orvis Company, of Manchester, VT.

Recall: August 3, 2007. Orvis has recalled approximately 200 stuffed plush horses and 1,300 stuffed fairy dolls that were sold as accessories to the Horse Animal Sleeping Bag and Unicorn Animal Sleeping Bag, respectively. The plastic button eyes on the horse, and the pompom nose on the fairy doll, can easily detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. No incidents have been reported. The stuffed horses and fairies were sold through Orvis' website and catalog from September 2006 through December 2006 for $70.

What to do: Take the recalled stuffed horse or fairy away from a child and contact Orvis for replacement or refund information. You may continue to use the sleeping bag.
